Crystal Reports is a Business Intelligence application created by Business Objects used to gather data and design reports based on a wide scale of data sources, such as databases like Microsoft SQL Server, iSeries/AS400 DB2/400, Microsoft Access and Oracle, spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel, text files, groupware applications such as Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes, as well any other data source accessible through ODBC or OLAP.
Jobscope’s Cost/Schedule Control allows the consolidation of data collected through the standard Jobscope system into the formats required jointly by the Departments of the Air Force, the Army, the Navy, and the Defense Logistics Agency. Jobscope provides a framework for defining work, assigning work responsibility, establishing budgets, controlling and summarizing costs, with respect to planned versus actual accomplishments. Information is provided for all appropriate management levels and for periodic submission to the Government.
The Engineering subsystem is intended to allow the design engineers to do their work in the CAD system then pass the work off to someone else who takes care of creating new part numbers and bills of material.
Estimating provides the capability to generate current quotations for existing bill-of-material structures, as well as items that have never before been created. Copy Estimates is a time-saving feature that allows a new estimate to be quickly created from an existing one, providing the ability to perform “same-as-except” estimating.
Field Service and Installation Jobscope manufacturing software helps your company meet more customer requests on the first call, and reduce the need for multiple updates on single incidents. Field Service solutions also allow you to schedule field service resources to assist in achieving maximum efficiency, cutting costs and helping make your field service operations profitable.
JOBSCOPE manufacturing software Financials system covers GAP financials, job cost, and order analysis, and allow one to set up accounts, charge jobs, invoice customers, pay vendors, display job costs, etc. Within the Accounting system, JOBSCOPE offers the following modules: General Ledger, Job Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Order Analysis.
Jobscope’s Job Cost software allows management to enter and maintain original projections and ongoing updates to those projections (budgets), while at the same time automatically accumulating actual costs-to-date and computer-projected Estimates-At-Completion (EAC). Comparison among all budgets and actuals may be viewed on-line within a single screen.
With JOBSCOPE Mobile, customers have real-time access to the system functionality they need, when they need it – directly from their mobile device. Complete functionality of JOBSCOPE Mobile gives users the ability to improve business processes whether away from the office or simply moving around in the plant.
DATACAP is JOBSCOPE’s web based plant floor data collection and bar coding system for labor collection and time and attendance tracking and material transactions. Using DATACAP, Engineer to Order, Make to Order, Job Shop, Government Contractor, and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul employees follow simple prompts to scan bar-coded information that is used to create transactions, which are uploaded to JOBSCOPE.
The Materials system consists of purchasing, inventory, issues, and material requirements planning, and will allow you to set up inventory records, assign bin locations, maintain vendor records, create purchase orders, receive orders, and display MRP. Within the Materials system, JOBSCOPE offers the following modules: Purchasing, Inventory, and MRP.
Production Planning and Control receives the engineering information in the form of engineering releases. The engineering release contains engineering release line items, or lines, which identify the drawings, bills of material, and other data that are being released. Some of the release line items, or lines, require routings to be created.
The Quality Assurance subsystem is designed for use on the shop floor. The workstation which provides for employee logon/logoff of the actual touch labor operations is also used by the inspectors for reading instructions, viewing drawings and other visual aids, and entering inspection results right at the source as the inspections occur.
Jobscope accommodates order processing for products and equipment that must be manufactured, processed, or assembled, as well as repair and spare parts orders. JOBSCOPE ERP software handles these order types through Sales Management, which provides for the entry of both predefined part numbers, part numbers brought in from an estimate, part numbers configured at order entry, or flexible part numbers identified in any manner acceptable to the user/customer. The system also supports the detail design and further documentation of the item as the order progresses.
Functionality includes labor collection transactions, scheduling of operations, work orders, and releases, and shipping with automatic invoice creation. Employees on the plant floor can follow simple labor collection prompts in our DATACAP system to scan barcoded information that is used to create transactions which are uploaded to JOBSCOPE. Our Scheduling system allows you to maintain calendars of planned activities for work centers. You have the ability to assign an operation with a beginning and ending time, and the block of time for the operation is reserved in the appropriate work center. JOBSCOPE’s Shipping subsystem provides an effective means of identifying and shipping items ready for delivery to customers or outside processors.
